Qatar Airways Launches Philadelphia-Doha Service

Qatar Airways announced the launch of new daily service between Philadelphia and Qatar’s capital city of Doha.  Flights operate using Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.

From Philadelphia, flights depart at 10:15 a.m. and arrive in Doha at 6:10 a.m. the next day. Flights from Doha to Philadelphia depart at 1:05 a.m. and arrive at 7:55 a.m.

Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-200LR aircraft are outfitted with 259 seats, including 42 lie-flat seats in business class, and 217 seats in economy.  Business-class seats are 22” wide, and have a bed length of 78”.

Philadelphia is the airline’s fifth gateway in the United States, after New York, Chicago, Houston, and Washington, DC.  The carrier also plans to add service to Miami and Dallas/Fort Worth later this year.
