InterContinental Hotels Group announced that it will open a new Hotel Indigo brand property in Atlanta in 2015. The Hotel Indigo Downtown Atlanta will be located at 230 Peachtree Street Northeast in the city’s downtown area.

The property will have 200 guest rooms, as well as a restaurant and bar serving locally sourced food and beverages.  A fitness center and business center will also be located on the premises.

In addition, the property will include the brand’s signature Neighborhood Guide, a touchscreen display in the lobby of the hotel that will help guests navigate the neighborhood.

The hotel will be located within walking distance of several of the city’s main tourist attractions, including the Centennial Olympic Park, the Tabernacle, and the Rialto Center for the Arts, and will offer easy access to Atlanta’s new streetcar line.

The Hotel Indigo Downtown Atlanta will be the third Indigo brand establishment to open in the city, after the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown and the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Airport – College Park. The former, which opened in 2004, was the first Indigo brand hotel to open.
