JAL to Launch Service Linking Tokyo with Milan, Rome

Japan Airlines announced that it will begin new charter service between Tokyo Haneda and both Milan and Rome, Italy this July.  Both new flights will operate through late September, using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Service from Tokyo to Milan will operate five times throughout the month of July, three times during the month of August, and once in September, with flights departing at 4:00 p.m. and arriving at 9:00 p.m.  Flights from Milan to Tokyo will operate three times in July and August, and twice during September, with departures scheduled for 1:20 p.m. and arrival expected to be 8:00 a.m. the next day.

From Rome, flights will operate four times in September, three times in August, and twice in September, departing at 1:15 p.m. and arriving at 8:00 a.m. the next day in Tokyo.  Flights from Tokyo will depart at 4:00 p.m. and arrive in Rome at 9:05 p.m., and are scheduled to operate four times in July, twice in August, and twice in September.

All flight times and dates are subject to government approval.  Tickets for the charter flights will be available for purchase beginning May 1.
