Brazilian airline GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes announced it will commence once-weekly non-stop service between Buenos Aires, Argentina and Fortaleza, a city in northeastern Brazil, on May 10. The flight will operate on Saturdays, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The new flight is scheduled to depart from Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires at 1:45 p.m. and arrive at Pinto Martins – Fortaleza International Airport in Fortaleza at 7:09 p.m. Flights from Fortaleza will depart at 5:55 p.m. and arrive in Buenos Aires at 11:30 p.m.

GOL’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft that will be used to operate the service have a total of 178 standard economy-class seats, each with a pitch of 31”-32”, and a width of 17”.

GOL operates approximately 910 daily flights to 65 destinations in ten countries throughout South America, the Caribbean, and the United States. The airline currently offers 77 flights a week between Brazil and Argentina.
