Four Seasons Hotels Debuts Boeing 757 Jet

Bildschirmfoto 2014-04-23 um 15.11Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced its entry into air transport with the launch of the Four Seasons Jet.

The Boeing 757-300 will be outfitted in a Four Seasons livery and will seat 52 passengers.  A normal Boeing 757-300 can hold as many as 232 passengers, depending on the particular airline’s configuration.

The fully lie-flat seats, which will be in a 2-2 configuration and were designed by Iacobucci.  They are 21” wide and will expand into a bed measuring 78” in length.  Each seat will have a universal outlet for electricity and a USB connection, and each passenger will receive an iPad for use on the trip.

The plane will be equipped with international Wi-Fi service as well as its own in-flight entertainment system that will stream content to passengers’ personal devices as well as the iPads that are on board.

Four Seasons will use the jet on specific trips that include air and ground transportation and accommodations at Four Seasons hotels across the globe.  The trips include two around-the-world voyages in February and August 2015 covering nine cities and a 16-day trip focusing on the arts incorporating museums and concert halls.

The Four Seasons Jet will also be available for individuals and companies to charter along with flight crew and staff.
