Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced it will open a new hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 1.  The property the hotel will be located on was previously known as the Westcliff Hotel, and has been undergoing renovations since June of last year to become the Four Seasons Hotel the Westcliff, Johannesburg.

The hotel will have 117 guestrooms and suites spread throughout nine different buildings.  Each room will have a garden terrace or balcony, as well as a private bar and espresso machine.

The Four Seasons Hotel the Westcliff Johannesburg will have five dining venues, including View, which will be open for lunch and dinner and specialize in seafood, meats, and locally sourced produce; Flames, which will feature grilled cuisine and local craft beer; and Cellar Door, a smaller venue that will offer wine paired with local cheese, meat, and seafood.  In addition, the property will house Westcliff Deli, an establishment that will feature coffee, snacks, salads, and sandwiches, and Après-Spa, which will offer wines, fresh juices, and light dining.

The hotel will also have a spa featuring nine treatment rooms, saunas, and steam rooms.  Two pools will also be located on the premises, as well as a 24-hour fitness center.  In addition, a concierge team and 24-hour laundry service will also be available at the hotel.

The Four Seasons Hotel the Westcliff Johannesburg will be located on eight acres of landscaped gardens residing on top of a hill.  The property is situated next to the Johannesburg Zoo, as well as several golf courses.
