Fiji Airways, Etihad Airways Announce Interline Agreement

Fiji Airways said that it has entered into an interline agreement With Etihad Airways.

The agreement allows for reciprocal sales on flights operated by the two airlines to and from 12 cities in Europe, 17 in the Middle East, 29 in Asia, five in Africa, and five in North America, as well as flights between Fiji and three cities in Australia.

The new agreement is expected to be the starting point of further negotiations between the two carriers.

Fiji Airways was founded in 1951 and carries 64% of passengers traveling to Fiji. Along with its subsidiary, Pacific Sun, the airline currently serves 15 destinations in ten countries.

Etihad Airways, which first commenced service in 2003, is the national flag carrier for the United Arab Emirates. The airline currently serves 103 passenger and cargo destinations worldwide.
