Delta to Launch New Los Angeles-Mazatlán, Mexico Service
Delta Air Lines announced it will begin new daily, non-stop service between Los Angeles and Mazatlán, Mexico, on December 20. The service will operate using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Delta will become the third U.S. carrier to provide service to Mazatlán from Los Angeles, along with Alaska Airlines and US Airways. Alaska currently offers nonstop service, while US Airways offers flights to the Mexican city via Phoenix.
Delta’s 737-800 aircraft are outfitted with 16 seats in first class, 18 seats in Economy Comfort, the airline’s premium economy section, and 126 seats in economy. Seats in first class have a pitch of 38”, and a width of 21”.
Mazatlán is located in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, on the Pacific coast of the country. The city has many beaches and resorts, and is a popular tourist destination.
