As part of its expansion in Seattle, Delta Air Lines announced the beginning of new daily, nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and London Heathrow. The new route was launched as part of the carrier’s joint venture with Virgin Atlantic Airways.

In addition to the Seattle-London route, Delta plans to launch new international service from Seattle this June to both Seoul, Korea, and Hong Kong.

The carrier also plans to expand its domestic service from Seattle-Tacoma this year, with additional service to Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, in Alaska; Las Vegas, Nevada; Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, California; and Portland, Oregon.  The airline will also be expanding its service between Seattle and Vancouver, Canada.

Delta currently serves 15 destinations from Seattle.
