Delta Air Lines announced it has finished outfitting its BusinessElite cabins on all of its international widebody planes with fully lie-flat seats with direct-aisle access.

Aircraft in Delta’s fleet which offer the lie-flat seats include all of its Airbus A330-200, A330-300, Boeing 767-300ER, 767-400ER, 747, 777-200ER, and 777-200LR planes.

In addition, the airline plans to install the lie-flat seats with direct-aisle access on its Boeing 757-200 transcontinental fleet.  The carrier will launch three of the updated aircraft on its route between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport on July 1.

By summer of next year, Delta plans to have outfitted the business-class cabins of its entire 757 transcon fleet with fully lie-flat seats with direct-aisle access.  The updated aircraft will be used to operate the airline’s New York-Los Angeles route, as well as its service linking JFK with both San Francisco and Seattle
