Hyatt announced it will open the Hyatt Regency Andares Guadalajara in Mexico in late 2016. The property will be the fifth Hyatt Regency hotel in the country.

The 220-room property will have two restaurants, a spa, a fitness center, and an indoor pool.  In addition, 29,000 square feet (2,694 square meters) of meeting and event space will be located on the premises.

The Hyatt Regency Andares Guadalajara is the part of the second phase of development for the Andares Shopping Mall, which includes high-end retail stores, office space, and condominiums. The hotel will be located near medical centers and Auditorio Telmex, a concert venue.

Earlier this year, Hyatt opened the Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort in southern Thailand, the first Hyatt property on Phuket, Thailand’s largest island.
