Hotel Indigo NYC Financial District to Open in 2016

Intercontinental Hotels Group announced it will open a new Indigo brand property in New York City’s Financial District in 2016.  The Hotel Indigo NYC Financial District will be located just one block away from the new One World Trade Center.

The 25-story hotel will have 190 rooms, each with spa-inspired bathrooms. The property will also have Indigo brand’s new Neighborhood Guide, a touchscreen display that allows guests to digitally explore the hotel, the local area, and other Indigo brand hotels around the world.

The establishment will also have 1,450 square feet (135 square meters) of meeting and event space, as well as a fitness center and rooftop lounge.

InterContinental Hotels Group currently operates two Indigo brand properties in New York City, with hotels in Brooklyn and Chelsea.  The company also has plans to open Indigo hotels in the Lower East Side and in Flushing, Queens.
