Cathay Pacific announced the launch of new daily service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Hong Kong International Airport.  The service operates using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Flights from Newark depart at 1:10 a.m. and arrive in Hong Kong at 6:00 a.m. the following day.  Flights from Hong Kong to Newark depart at 6:20 p.m. and arrive at 9:00 p.m. the same day.

Cathay’s Boeing 777-300ERs which operate the service are equipped with 40 lie-flat seats in business class, 32 seats in Premium Economy, and 268 seats in economy class.  Seats in business class are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, all with direct-aisle access, with a width of 36” and an overall length of 81”.

Cathay Pacific features daily flights to Hong Kong and over 22 destinations in mainland China, from Chicago, Los Angeles, New York’s JFK, and San Francisco. Newark is the airline’s fifth gateway in the United States, and seventh in North America.
