Air China to Launch Beijing-Yangon, Chengdu-Kunming-Yangon Service

Air China announced that it will commence Beijing-Yangon, as well as Chengdu-Kunming-Yangon nonstop service, on March 30. Service from Beijing to Yangon will operate four times a week, while the Chengdu-Kunming-Yangon service will operate daily.

Flights from Beijing will depart at 7:30 p.m. and arrive in Yangon at 10:50 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights from Yangon will depart at 11:50 p.m. and arrive in Beijing at 5:50 a.m. the next day.

From Chengdu, flights will depart at 8:25 a.m. and arrive in Kunming at 9:40 a.m. Flights will then depart Kunming at 10:45 a.m. and continue on to Yangon, arriving at 11:15 a.m. local time.

Flights from Yangon will depart at 12:15 p.m. and arrive in Kunming at 4:00 p.m. Flights will then depart Kunming at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Chengdu at 6:15 p.m.

The Beijing-Yangon service will operate using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, while the Chengdu-Kunming-Yangon service will use Airbus A320 aircraft.
