Air China to Launch Beijing-Washington, D.C. Service

Air China announced that it will begin Beijing-Washington, D.C. service on June 10 of this year. The route will operate four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Flights from Beijing will depart at 1:00 p.m. and arrive in Washington, D.C. at 2:35 p.m.  Flights from Washington, D.C. will depart at 4:35 p.m. and arrive in Beijing at 6:15 p.m. the following day.

Air China’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft are equipped with eight lie-flat seats in first class, 42 lie-flat seats in business class, and 261 seats in economy. First-class seats have a pitch of 80” and a width of 23”, while business class seats have a pitch of 60” and a width of 23”.

The Beijing-Washington, D.C. route is Air China’s seventh North American route, following New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Hawaii, and Vancouver.
