Martin Hunt, a Mountain View, California resident, has won the grand prize in the Frequent Business Traveler “Where Are You in the Pacific Northwest” contest.

Hunt correctly identified the exact locations of six photos from the Pacific Northwest.  As the winner, he will receive a two-night stay at the Nines Hotel, located in Portland, Oregon.

The Nines Hotel is one of the few in Portland that is LEED Silver-certified.  Situated in the downtown area next to Pioneer Square, the hotel is within walking distance of stylish boutique shops and hip dining venues in the city’s Pearl District.  Making use of a nearby light rail stop, guests can easily access other parts of the city, where they will find gardens, museums, and enriching neighborhoods to explore.

Hunt is the cofounder and chief technology officer of Weeby.co, a startup focused around over-the-top gaming technology.  Hunt can frequently be seen enjoying a vanilla latte before his next flight out of San Jose International Airport, or popping over to Reno for a weekend ski getaway with his fiancée, Maria Pavlovskaia.  Hunt and Pavolvskaia maintained a long distance relationship between San Jose and Los Angeles, making the weekly one-hour flight between the two cities while Maria finished up her studies at UCLA.  The two are hungry for travel and adventure, and make an effort to enjoy new experiences. Recent examples include taking a ride on the Trans-Siberian Railway and dog sledding in Mongolia.

Out of the nearly 800 contest entrants, Hunt was one of only three who provided the correct answers.  Hunt said that it was a combination of extensive research and scrupulous Google Street View exploration that led him to accomplish this.  Congratulations, Martin Hunt!
