Starwood to Open Aloft Hotel in Louisville

Starwood announced it will open a new hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, in April 2015. The Aloft Louisville Downtown, which will be located in the city’s central business district, will be the first Aloft brand establishment to open in Louisville.

The hotel will have 167 loft-like rooms, each with a modern, vibrant design. The property will also include the brand’s signature W XYZ bar, a pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and 2,000 square feet (185 square meters) of function space for business meetings and social events.

The hotel will be located within walking distance of many dining, shopping, and entertainment venues including the KentuckyCenter for Performing Arts, the WaterfrontPark, and the Fourth Street Live Complex.

Aloft also recently announced it will begin Keyless Check-In for select properties, a feature that allows hotel guests to bypass the front desk by using their smartphones to check in and open their room doors.
