Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas announced it will open a new resort in the Seychelles in 2015. The Six Senses Zil Pasyon will open on the private island of Félicité, and will be the first property from the hotelier to open in the Seychelles.

The new resort will include 28 one-bedroom villas, two with an additional bedroom, and 17 private residences. Each villa and residence will come with a private pool.

The property will also house two restaurants, a bar, and retail outlets, as well as personal fitness amenities including a recreation room, swimming pool, gym, and spa. The new resort will also incorporate function space for board meetings, weddings, and other special occasions.

The 652-acre resort will occupy less than one-third of the island’s total area, and will be located on the northern side of the island directly on the coastline of the Indian Ocean.

An ideal locale for beach-going visitors, the African nation of Seychelles is comprised of 115 smaller islands in the Indian Ocean, and offers a wide variety of water sports, including diving, snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, and boating.
