The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage

Ritz-Carlton announced it will open a new hotel in the desert resort city of Rancho Mirage in southern California on May 15 of this year. The new resort will be located on a cliff that overlooks Palm Springs in the heart of the Santa RosaMountains.

The property will have 244 rooms and suites, as well as various private residences.  The resort will also have a two-story luxury spa, as well as 30,000 square feet (2,787 square meters) of indoor and outdoor meeting space.

The hotel will also offer several dining venues, including a State Fare Bar and Kitchen, as well as the Edge, a restaurant that specializes in steak, seafood, and fine wine, and that offers hotel guests a view of the Palm Springs valley.

The resort will be located near hiking and biking trails, polo grounds, and shopping outlets. It will also offer a variety of resort amenities including cliff-side swimming, serenity pools, and premier golf and tennis facilities.
