Hong Kong Airlines announced it will begin new service between Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on March 17.  The service will operate three times a week using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights will depart Hong Kong at 12:20 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 1:55 p.m.  Flights from Ho Chi Minh City will depart at 3:00 p.m. on the same days, and arrive in Hong Kong at 6:30 p.m.

Hong Kong Airlines’ Airbus 320s are equipped with 152 seats, including eight in business class.  Seats in business class offer personal TV monitors, and can recline to 155°.

Ho Chi Minh City will be Hong Kong Airlines’ second destination in Vietnam, after Hanoi.  The carrier currently offers daily service between Hong Kong and Hanoi.
