Delta Air Lines announced it will begin new and additional service from Seattle to various destinations later this year.  The airline will also begin to offer new seasonal service to three destinations from Seattle later this year.

Beginning in September, Delta will offer one new daily flight to Anchorage, expanding on its already existing once-daily service between Seattle and the Alaskan city.  During the summer, the airline will add a third daily flight between the two cities.

Delta will also begin offering five daily flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on December 20.  Also on December 20, the airline will begin once-daily seasonal service between Seattle and Palm Springs, California.

The carrier will also begin seasonal service between Seattle and both Tucson, Arizona and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on December 20.  Both flights will operate once a week, on Saturdays.

In addition, Delta plans to add one additional nonstop flight to Honolulu from Seattle, for a total of two daily flights.
