Alaska Airlines Adding Service from Portland and Seattle to Kalispell, New Orleans, Tampa, Detroit

Alaska Airlines announced it will begin new daily seasonal service between Portland, Oregon and Kalispell, Montana on June 9.  In addition, the carrier also said that it would launch daily service from Seattle to New Orleans, Tampa, and Detroit later this year.

Flights will depart Portland at 3:55 p.m. and arrive in Kalispell at 6:20 p.m.  Flights from Kalispell to Portland will depart at 6:50 p.m. and arrive at 7:25 p.m.

The carrier’s seasonal service between Portland and Kalispell will operate between June 9 and August 23.  Flights will be operated by Alaska’s regional partner Horizon Air, using Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

Alaska’s new service from Seattle to New Orleans will begin on June 12.  Flights will depart Seattle at 10:15 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 5:00 p.m.  From New Orleans, flights will depart at 5:55 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 8:50 p.m.

On June 20, the carrier will begin its service between Seattle and Tampa, with flights departing Seattle at 8:50 a.m. and arriving in Tampa at 5:30 p.m.  Flights from Tampa to Seattle will depart at 6:30 p.m. and arrive at 9:25 p.m.

On September 4 the airline will begin service between Seattle and Detroit.  Flights will depart Seattle at 9:05 a.m. and arrive in Detroit at 4:14 p.m., while return flights will depart Detroit at 5:20 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 6:55 p.m.

The new flights from Seattle will operate using Boeing 737 aircraft.
