Air China to Launch Beijing-Vienna-Barcelona Service

Air China announced that it would commence Beijing-Vienna-Barcelona service beginning May 5 of this year. The new route will operate four times a week, using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Flights from Beijing will depart at 2:10 a.m., and will arrive in Vienna at 6:10 a.m.  Flights will then arrive in Barcelona at 9:25 a.m.  The service will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Flights from Barcelona will depart at 11:25 a.m., arriving in Vienna at 1:25 p.m., and in Beijing at 5:55 a.m. the next day.

Air China’s A330-300 aircraft are equipped with 30 lie-flat seats in business class, 16 seats in economy, and 255 seats in economy.  Seats in business class have a pitch of 58”, and a width of 20”.

The new Beijing-Vienna-Barcelona service brings Air China’s total European routes to 23. Air China offers service to 19 European cities.
