Hilton announced the opening of the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates.  The hotel is the second Waldorf Astoria property in the country.

The 319-room property is located on the Palm Jumeirah, an artificial archipelago in the shape of a palm tree extending into the Persian Gulf.  The hotel offers six dining options, including Lao, a Southeast Asian dining venue, Mezzerie, a locally-inspired dining establishment, and Serafina, a Venetian restaurant.

The property also offers 656 feet (200 meters) of private beach, as well as two temperature-controlled outdoor pools.  Recreational facilities, such as tennis courts and water sports, are also located on the property, as well as a Waldorf Astoria Spa.

The hotel has various event spaces on site, including eight naturally lit meeting spaces, and a multi-purpose ballroom, capable of seating up to 600 guests.
