United to Increase Service to New York for Super Bowl
United Airlines announced it will increase service from Denver and Seattle to its New York hub at Newark Liberty for the Super Bowl. Denver and Seattle are the home cities of the Broncos and Seahawks, who will battle it out at the big game on February 2.
The airline will add two flights from Denver International Airport and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport on both January 30 and 31, as well as four flights back to Denver and three to Seattle on February 3.
On January 30, flights from Seattle will depart at 9:45 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. and arrive in Newark at 5:31 p.m. the same day and 7:23 a.m. the next day respectively. Flights will depart Denver at 2:58 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and arrive at 8:29 p.m. and 10:52 p.m. respectively.
Flights on January 31 will depart Seattle at 12:43 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and arrive in Newark at 8:29 p.m. the same day and 5:04 a.m. the next day respectively. From Denver, flights will depart at 9:00 a.m. and 4:05 p.m. and arrive at 2:39 p.m. and 9:27 p.m. respectively.
On February 3, return flights to Seattle and will depart Newark at 10:00 a.m., noon, and 2:59 p.m., and arrive at 12:57 p.m., 3:12 p.m., and 6:03 p.m. To Denver, flights will depart Newark at 8:29 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 6:59 p.m., and 8:10 p.m., arriving at 11:04 a.m., 12:35 p.m., 9:32 p.m., and 10:43 p.m. respectively.
The supplemental flights are operating in addition to all normally scheduled United flights.
