Jawbone, a San Francisco-based audio technology company, announced a new model of its Era Bluetooth headset on Thursday.

The headset weighs just 0.21 ounces (6 grams), 42% less than the previous model and delivers up to ten hours of talk time.  Synched via Bluetooth, the headset is compatible with Siri and Google Now, and can stream audio from both Apple and Android devices.

The tiny headset lacks an ear loop, but comes in three sizes with a calibrated, silicon ear bud for a snug fit.  Jawbone promises clearer and more natural sound as a result of better quality microphones and more accurate algorithms for detecting and distinguishing different types of speech.

Jawbone’s Era headset is available in four colors on its website for $129, or $99 without its compact charging case.  It will be available at retail locations, such as Apple and Best Buy stores, on January 24.
