Delta Air Lines, which has over the past year increased the amenities in business-class cabin to include new menus and Westin Heavenly In-flight bedding, introduced new dining options in economy on its transcon flights linking New York with San Francisco, Seattle, and Los Angeles.

The new offerings include wraps prepared by Luvo, which currently supplies healthy snacks on shuttles between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and will be made using all-natural ingredients free of trans fats and antibiotic/hormone-fed meats.

Flights from New York to the Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle will now offer two wraps out of the following three options: vegetarian quinoa crunch wrap, grilled chicken wrap, or roast turkey and Havarti wrap.  All wraps are served with multi-seed coconut chocolate chip cookies and ring in at under 500 calories.

Luvo wraps will be available for passengers seated in economy for an additional cost while they will be complimentary for those in Economy Comfort.

In addition to the new food selection, new wine options will be available for passengers in the BusinessElite cabin on transcon flights.  The new wines include a 2012 Sauvignon Blanc and a 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, both from Sonoma county.
