With the new year just a few days away, we’d like to share with you the most popular news and feature stories we brought to you in 2013.  From new aircraft and lounges to the best flight reviews and survey results, take a look at what articles our readers enjoyed the most this past year.


1.)            Boeing Reports Engine Flaw in GE-Powered Dreamliners, 747s. Fortunately a fix is underway.

2.)            American Gets First Airbus A321 Transcontinental Aircraft. Its maiden voyage with passengers will be on January 7th, 2014 from New York to Los Angeles.

3.)            World’s First A380 Concourse Opens at Dubai International Airport. Find out where the world’s largest operator of the super jumbo parks all of its A380s .

4.)            United Airlines Unveils Airport Lounge of the Future at Chicago O’Hare. The new lounge will set a standard for the airline.

9.)            Airbus Calls for 18” Wide Economy Seats as International Standard. Airbus hopes to end the practice of stuffing as many passengers as possible into an aircraft.

10.)          Airbus, Boeing, Embraer Post Billions in Orders at Paris Air Show.  The world’s airlines are investing in new and more efficient airplanes in a big way.
