Delta Air Lines announced it would begin new daily, nonstop service between Seattle and Fairbanks, Alaska on May 29, 2014.  The airline also said it would begin new seasonal daily, nonstop service between Vancouver and Seattle on June 5 of next year.

Delta will offer one daily flight between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Fairbanks International Airport, operated by a Boeing 737-800.  The aircraft is laid out in two classes: first class and economy comfort.

Delta will also offer five daily flights between Vancouver International Airport and Seattle.  The flights will be operated by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines, using CRJ-900 aircraft equipped with 76 seats in a two-class layout.

Last month, Delta announced it would begin new service to Seattle from both San Diego and Portland, Oregon next year.
