Amazon Cloud Player Arrives in BMW, Mini Vehicles

Amazon announced that its Cloud Player is now available for BMW and Mini vehicles equipped with BMW Apps or Mini Connected.

The integration of the Amazon Cloud Player allows drivers to access their music via the app with dashboard controls and the in-vehicle entertainment interface such as BMW’s iDrive.  Music streams at 256 kbps from the cloud or local storage on the device.

Currently, Amazon Cloud Player compatibility with these vehicles is limited to iOS devices and model year 2011 or newer vehicles.

Earlier this year, Amazon integrated its Cloud Player app into Sync Applink-equipped Ford vehicles.
