Aeromexico announced it will partner with Gogo to provide Gogo Vision, an in-flight Internet and wireless in-flight entertainment service, on at least 75 of its aircraft.  Aeromexico expects to implement the new service in the second half of 2014.

On Aeromexico’s Boeing 737 aircraft, the service will utilize Gogo’s Ku-band satellite service, while Inmarsat’s SwiftBroadband satellite service will be used for the carrier’s regional jets.

Gogo Vision is an on-demand in-flight entertainment and information service designed for the business aviation market.  It offers a constantly rotating library of movies and television shows plus news, flight status, and weather information.

Aeromexico will be the first Latin American carrier to provide in-flight Wi-Fi via Gogo.
