United Airlines to Launch New Chicago-San Juan, Puerto Rico Service
United Airlines announced it will begin new daily, nonstop service between Chicago and San Juan, Puerto Rico on November 5. The service will operate using Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
Flights will depart Chicago O’Hare International Airport at 8:27 a.m., and will arrive at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan at 3:05 p.m. Flights from San Juan to Chicago will depart at 3:55 p.m. and arrive at 7:19 p.m.
United’s Boeing 737-900s that will operate the route are outfitted with 20 seats in first class, 51 in Economy Plus, and 96 in economy class. Seats in first class are 21” wide, and have a pitch of 38”.
The airline will launch additional seasonal service between the two cities on December 4, which will operate through January 6 of next year. Flights will depart Chicago daily at 4:10 p.m. and arrive in San Juan at 10:48 p.m., while flights from San Juan to Chicago will depart at 7:05 a.m. and arrive at 10:29 a.m.
