United Airlines to Begin New Service to Atlantic City

United Airlines announced it will begin daily, nonstop service to Atlantic City, New Jersey, from Chicago and Houston on April 1 of next year.  The new flights will be operated by United Express carrier ExpressJet, using Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft equipped with 50 seats.

Flights from Chicago to Atlantic City will depart O’Hare International Airport at 8:10 a.m. and arrive at Atlantic City International Airport at 11:17 a.m.  Flights from Atlantic City will depart at 11:52 a.m. and arrive in Chicago at 1:10 p.m.

From Houston, flights will depart George Bush Intercontinental Airport at 7:00 p.m. and arrive in Atlantic City at 11:20 p.m.  Flights from Atlantic City to Houston will depart at 6:00 a.m. and arrive at 8:49 a.m.

United’s Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft have six seats in Economy Plus, and 44 seats in economy class.  Seats in Economy Plus are 17.3” wide, and have a pitch of 34”.
