Turkish Airlines to Begin Operations Out of Montreal

Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkey, announced it will begin operating out of Montreal-Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport in June 2014. The airline will offer three weekly flights to Ataturk Airport in Istanbul.

The nonstop service will operate on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

The aircraft are outfitted with 28 lie-flat seats in business class, and 261 seats in economy class. Seats in business class are 21″ wide, with a pitch of 61″.

Turkish Airlines offers service to more than 200 international destinations in over 100 countries. The carrier is also a member of Star Alliance.
