Frontier Airlines to Begin New Service between Wilmington and Atlanta, Detroit

Frontier Airlines announced it will launch thrice weekly service between Wilmington, Delaware and both Atlanta and Detroit on April 29 of next year.  The flights will operate using Airbus 320 aircraft.

Flights from Wilmington to Atlanta will depart Wilmington-New Castle Airport at 1:15 p.m. and arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 3:15 p.m.  From Atlanta, flights will depart at 4:00 p.m. and arrive at 5:55 p.m.  The service will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

From Wilmington to Detroit, flights will depart at 8:30 a.m. and arrive at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport at 10:10 a.m.  Flights from Detroit to Wilmington will depart at 10:55 a.m. and arrive at 12:30 p.m.  These flights will also operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Frontier Airlines’ Airbus A320 aircraft are equipped with 168 seats, including 36 in the airline’s Stretch class, and 132 in economy class.  Seats in Stretch are 18” wide, and have a pitch of 36-38”.
