American Express announced the addition of Emirates to its Membership Rewards program.  Members of American Express Membership Rewards program can now transfer points into their Emirates Skywards account and redeem Skywards Miles.

In celebration of the new partnership, American Express and Emirates will offer members a limited time transfer bonus.  Between November 8 and November 21, eligible card members in the U.S., U.K., and France will receive a 25% bonus when they transfer points to Emirates Skywards.

During the promotional period, eligible Card Members can transfer as little as 60,000 Membership Rewards points to Emirates Skywards, and book an Emirates economy class return ticket between JFK and Dubai.

Last month, American Express began offering 20% more Avios for members who transfer their Membership Rewards points to British Airways Executive accounts by December 3 of this year.  The company also began offering a 30% transfer bonus for members who transfer their Membership Rewards points to Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club frequent flyer program, through November 30.
