Alaska Airlines Launches New Seattle, San Diego, Portland Service

Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new service from Seattle, San Diego, and Portland, Oregon.  The airline also announced it will begin additional new service from Seattle and Portland later this month.

The carrier began daily service between Seattle and Colorado Springs, Colorado, with flights departing Seattle at 6:20 p.m. and arriving in Colorado Springs at 9:55 p.m.  Flights from Colorado Springs to Seattle depart at 8:00 a.m. and arrive at 9:55 a.m.  The new service is operated by SkyWest Airlines.

In addition, the airline will begin new daily service between Seattle and Omaha, Nebraska, on November 7.  Flights will depart Seattle at 10:40 a.m. and arrive in Omaha at 3:45 p.m.  Flights from Omaha to Seattle will depart at 4:15 p.m. and arrive at 5:45 p.m.  The new route will also be operated by SkyWest Airlines.

The carrier also began flights between Portland and Tucson, Arizona, with flights departing Portland at 9:15 a.m. and arriving in Tucson at 12:05 p.m. (1:05 p.m. after Daylight Saving Time).  Flights from Tucson to Portland depart at 12:35 p.m. (1:45 p.m. after Daylight Saving Time) and arrive at 3:30 p.m. (3:40 p.m. after Daylight Saving Time).

Alaska Airlines will also begin service between Portland and Reno, Nevada on November 8.  Flights will depart Portland daily at 11:10 a.m. and arrive in Reno at 12:45 p.m., while flights from Reno to Portland will depart at 1:15 p.m. and arrive at 2:50 p.m.  Flights between Portland and Tucson are operated by SkyWest Airlines, while flights between Portland and Reno will be operated by Horizon Air.

The carrier also launched daily service between San Diego and Boise.  Flights depart San Diego at 5:35 p.m. and arrive in Boise at 8:45 p.m., while flights from Boise to San Diego depart at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at 11:40 a.m.  The flights are operated by SkyWest Airlines and Horizon Air.
