Starwood announced plans to open a new Le Méridien property in Cleveland, Ohio, in January 2016.  The Le Méridien Cleveland will be housed in two adjacent historic buildings on the city’s Euclid Avenue, formerly known as “Millionaire’s Row.”

The development will include 10,500 square feet (975 square meters) of ground-floor retail space, as well as a 125-space parking garage.  The hotel itself will have 206 guestrooms and suites, as well as a full-service restaurant, signature bar, and lounge.

The hotel’s lobby will feature the brand’s signature Le Méridien Hub, which will include the signature Master Barista, a coffee-oriented initiative.  An indoor pool and 24-hour fitness center will also be available to guests.

The property will be equipped with over 12,000 square feet (1,114 square meters) of meeting and event space.

The hotel will be situated adjacent to Playhouse Square, the second largest theatre complex in the country after New York City’s Lincoln Center, and will be within walking distance of the newly developed Horseshoe Casino and Cleveland Convention Center.
