Poll: What Are Your Biggest Frequent Flyer Award Redemption Pet Peeves?
One of the biggest perks of being a frequent flyer is the fact that you are able to accumulate tens of thousands of miles or points that can then be redeemed for air travel. While it may sound glamorous to friends and neighbors, much if not all of the flying is work, and oftentimes it’s just a way to get to and from work.
When it comes time to redeem these miles, it’s not always quite as simple as booking a ticket, given the complicated fare rules that cover award bookings as well as issues that may be unique to one or two airline programs.
Frequent Business Traveler is once again collaborating with FlyerTalk, the world’s largest online travel community, to find out which aspects of the award redemption process bug you the most. Simply drag your biggest pet peeves to the top of the list, and continue to rank them in descending order.
Our list, which was compiled by a group of frequent travelers that includes members of FlyerTalk, only incorporates issues you might encounter when trying to book an award by design. Other air travel and frequent flyer program-related issues will be covered in separate surveys.
After taking the poll, which will run through November 15, 2013, you may subscribe to Frequent Business Traveler Weekly and have the opportunity to win a piece of valuable airline memorabilia.
