Bombardier announced that Luxair, the national flag carrier of Luxembourg, placed a firm order for a Q400 NextGen turboprop airliner.  In addition, the airline also took an option for an additional Q400 NextGen aircraft.

The firm order is valued at approximately $32.2 million.  Should Luxair choose to exercise its option, the order value could increase to $65.78 million.

Luxair’s order increased the amount of firm orders for the Q400 and Q400 NextGen turboprops to 476.

Luxair was founded in 1961.  It currently operates six Q400 and Q400 NextGen aircraft.
