JetBlue to Begin New Boston-Detroit Service

JetBlue announced it will begin new thrice daily, nonstop service between Boston and Detroit on March 10 of next year.  The service will operate using Embraer 190 aircraft.

Flights will depart Boston at 7:30 a.m., 4:00 p.m., and 7:35 p.m., and will arrive in Detroit at 9:49 a.m., 6:17 p.m., and 9:52 p.m.  Flights from Detroit to Boston will depart at 6:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 6:55 p.m., and arrive at 8:16 a.m., 12:16 p.m., and 8:43 p.m.

In celebration of the new service, JetBlue is offering flights from Boston to Detroit starting at $85 one-way for travel between March 10, 2014 and May 22.  Detroit will become the airline’s 85th destination in the Americas.

Earlier this month, JetBlue announced it would begin service between Boston and Savannah/Hilton Head next February.
