Delta to Begin New San Francisco-Seattle Service, Increase Las Vegas-Los Angeles Service
Delta Air Lines announced it will begin new daily, nonstop service from San Francisco to Seattle on March 29, 2014. In addition, the airline announced it will increase its service between Las Vegas and Los Angeles starting next January.
Beginning March 29, Delta will offer six daily nonstop flights from San Francisco International Airport to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The airline will increase the service to seven daily flights on June 5.
Also on June 5 of next year, Delta will add two more flights from Los Angeles International Airport to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, for a total of seven daily nonstop flights. The carrier will also add two daily flights from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on January 6, 2014, for a total of three daily, and will increase the service further to five daily nonstop flights on April 1, 2014.
Delta recently took delivery of its first Boeing Next-Generation 737-900ER aircraft. The arrival was part of a 100-jet order placed in 2011.
