Cathay Pacific to Increase Flight Frequencies to Hong Kong From Los Angeles, Chicago

Cathay Pacific announced it will add a fourth daily nonstop flight between Los Angeles and Hong Kong on June 1 next year. In addition, the airline also announced that it will add three flights from Chicago to Hong Kong beginning August 2, 2014.

The new flight from Los Angeles to Hong Kong will depart at 9:40 a.m. and arrive at 3:25 p.m. the following day. The flight from Hong Kong to Los Angeles will depart at 9:30 a.m. and arrive at 7:55 a.m.

The new flights from Chicago to Hong Kong will depart O’Hare International Airport at 1:15 a.m. and will arrive in Hong Kong at 5:50 a.m. the next day, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flights to Chicago will depart Hong Kong at 6:25 p.m. and arrive at 8:20 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Each of the airline’s new flights will be operated using three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, outfitted with business, Premium Economy, and economy class.

Earlier this year, Cathay Pacific announced plans to provide service between Newark and Hong Kong starting March 1 of next year.
