Air China announced it will begin new service between Beijing and Chiang Mei, Thailand, on November 7.  The service will operate three times a week using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Flights will depart Beijing at 6:30 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and will arrive in Chiang Mai at 10:40 p.m.  Flights from Chiang Mai will depart at 11:45 p.m. and arrive in Beijing at 5:00 a.m. the following morning.

Chiang Mai is located in northern Thailand, and is the country’s second largest city.

Earlier this year, Air China began nonstop service between Houston and Beijing.  The service, operating four times a week, is a codeshare with United Airlines.
