Air China announced it will begin new nonstop service between Beijing and Honolulu, Hawaii on January 21, 2014.  The flight will operate using Airbus A330 aircraft.

Flights will depart Beijing Capital International Airport at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and will arrive at Honolulu International Airport in Hawaii at 6:25 p.m. one day earlier due to the crossing of the international dateline.  Flights from Hawaii to Beijing will depart at 9:55 p.m., also on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and arrive at 5:20, two days later.

Honolulu will become the carrier’s sixth destination in North America, after New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, and Vancouver.

Earlier this month, Air China announced it would begin service between Beijing and Chiang Mei, Thailand on November 7.
