Star Alliance announced the opening of its new lounge at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport.  First and business class passengers, as well as Star Alliance Gold Card passengers, have access to the new lounge.

At approximately 18,000 square feet (1,675 square meters), the new lounge can accommodate around 400 business class and Star Alliance Gold passengers.  In addition, there is an exclusive area for first class passengers.

The lounge also includes an open-air terrace that offers views of the airport’s northern runway towards the Hollywood Hills.  In addition to the terrace, there is a bar area, library space, a den, study, and media room, as well as eight shower rooms that passengers may use prior to flights.

The lounge is also equipped with high speed Wi-Fi, and offers printing, fax, and copy services upon request.  Power outlets and USB ports are available, and tablet computers can also be provided upon request.

The interior of the lounge is decorated with black and white photographs inspired by the city of Los Angeles.  In addition, locally sourced products and furniture were used throughout, including glazed ceramic tile feature walls created by local artisans.
