Delta Air Lines announced it would launch a new selection of food and beverage offerings at its older terminal at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, Terminal 2.  Temporary versions of the concept began rolling out today, while the full program is expected to be up and running by next summer.

The new program will feature seven food and beverage concepts, as well as fresh markets, coffee shops, and concierge services.  In addition, Apple iPads will be integrated in the new restaurants to make ordering food and drink easier.

Among the new venues are Due Amici, which will feature traditional Italian cuisine and locally grown products, and BRKLYN Beer Garden, which will have more than 20 beers on tap.  The new program will also include Shiso, with a menu featuring contemporary Japanese cuisine and an assortment of sushi and rolls, as well as Croque Madame, a sandwich shop that will offer traditional French sandwiches, crepes, tartines, and a selection of made-to-order salads.

Cibo Express Gourmet Markets will feature a variety of sandwiches, wraps, sides, and salads, as well as an assortment of nuts, fruits, chocolates, cookies, cheese, chips, and vegetables.  Classic New York style pizza by the slice or pie will be offered at Tagliare, while WorldBean will feature fresh roasted coffee and espresso drinks.
