Hyatt announced the opening of the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort & Spa in Hawaii. The beachfront hotel is located on Maui’s southwestern coastline, along Mokapu beach.

The 15-acre property offers 297 guestrooms and suites, including seven two- to four-bedroom residential villas with outdoor infinity pools. Each room has custom-designed furniture, including platform beds with side tables in a walnut finish, and teak wood slant vanities.

The bathrooms have shuttered wooden screens in white-washed oak finish and lava stone floors. Each room provides complimentary wireless Internet access.

The hotel also hosts a 14,000 square foot (1,300 square meter) spa with ten treatment rooms, a full-service salon, three relaxation rooms, a 24-hour fitness center, and a private adults-only pool. In addition, the hotel provides over 15,000 square feet (1,393 square meters) of meeting and event space, including five indoor Andaz Studios and three outdoor beachfront event lawns.

Two full-service restaurants are located on the property, Ka’ana Kitchen, which offers breakfast and lunch, and Morimoto Maui, which features Japanese, Western, and Hawaiian traditions. The hotel also has two poolside cocktail lounges, and a 24-hour market.
