Xiamen Airlines, Boeing Finalize Order for Six 787 Dreamliners

Xiamen Airlines announced that it finalized an order for six Boeing 787-800 aircraft.  The order is valued at $1.3 billion at list prices.

The Chinese carrier is the only one in the country to have an all-Boeing fleet.  It currently consists of 97 aircraft, including 17 737-700s, 74 737-800s, and six 757-200s.

The airline serves 218 domestic routes, as well as 26 international and regional routes.

Xiamen Airlines was founded in 1984.  It is the first privately owned airline in China.
