Starwood announced it will open a new Sheraton hotel in northern Iraq early next year.  Located in Dohuk, Iraq, the Sheraton Dohuk Hotel will be situated near the border of Turkey and Iraq.

The new property will have 202 guestrooms, each with Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds.  The property will also have an all-day dining venue, as well as a signature restaurant.

For meeting and event space, the hotel will offer three separate ballrooms.  The property will also have four lounges and a fitness center.

Earlier this month, Starwood announced it would open a new Sheraton hotel in Samsum, Turkey in 2014.  The hotel will be Starwood’s 11th in Turkey.
